MUGEN STYLE CLUTCH SHOE hard This is the 1.4 grams weight shoes. THIS SHOE RUNS THE SPECIAL M2C SHORT TORSION STYLE SPRING. THIS INCREASES SURFACE CONTACT OF THE SHOE BY20% . the lighter shoes will also allow you to run a smaller spring to achieve the same relults.
these shoes come with a 1.0 spring, but we do have other springs for different track conditions.
It is improtant to note that we have never had a confirmed case of aspring breaking in 8 years of using this style spring.
these shoe also has a washer built in to reduce drag of the shoe on the flywheel
Expected life of the shoes are 1 to 1.5 gallons.
IT IS ADVISED THAT YOU RUN A NEW CLUTCH BELL. SINCE THE MUGEN SHOES HAVE A GROOVE IN THEM THAT WILL NOT ALLOW MY CLUTCH
SHOES TO SEAT PROPERLY. OR YOU CAN SAND OUT THE GROOVE WITH A DRUM SANDER AND USE AN OLD BELL.
DISCOLORATION OF THE CLUTCH BELL:
The purple color of the mugen bell is due to the type of coating on the clutch bell and does not effect the performance of the bell.
